Who we are

We are a collective of therapists, sex educators and holistic body workers who provide queer and trans comprehensive sex therapy education.

Join us this fall for a week long training opportunity on the areas of queer and trans sexuality, relationships, bodies and relationships. Earn AASECT credits and network with other professionals from the PNW and beyond.

Come learn from other queer and trans educators, therapists and leaders and be a part of the conversation - how do we honor and celebrate QT love, QT bodies and QT joy.

Join some of the most important voices in the country to learn about queer and trans sexuality as it pertains to therapists, educators and others in the health and social service fields. Earn AASECT continuing education credits and attend a SAR (Sexual Attitude Reassessment). Reflect on your values and feelings and challenge beliefs about sexuality with special emphasis on the lives, needs and loves of queer and/or trans people.

Meet the QITI planning committee

Molz Wirtz-Wold, MS, LPC, LMHC (they/them)

Owner of Marigold Counseling and psychotherapist for 20 years, they have worked with individuals, families, couples and relationships. Molz has provided in-home crisis family preservation services, supported youth and their families with out-of-control sexual behaviors, ran a horticultural therapy program in a school for students with behavioral challenges, provided in-school counseling and sexual education in a community health center located in a middle school, and for the past 8 years has owned a private practice serving people in Washington and Oregon states.

They have created curriculum and taught on trans gender identities at Antioch Univesity’s Masters in Counseling program; and presented continuing education for the Seattle Counselor’s Association on polyamorous and open relationship styles. They have been involved in direct action activism and organizing with those marginalized in their local communities, such as helping to facilitate the Trans Pride March in Portland, Oregon. They are also a musician and fine art photographer, using art to explore gender, fat liberation and sexuality.

Keely C. Helmick, LPC, CST (they/them)

Clinical Director and owner of Connective Therapy Collective in Portland, Oregon - They have been working with folks for over 12-years to address a myriad of personal, sexual concerns in a sex-positive, non-judgmental way. They specialize in work with the LGBTQIA2S+, gender diverse people, as well as the kinky community. They are also a supervisor in training for other sex therapists.

Alex Iantaffi, Ph.D., MS, SEP, CST, CST-S, LMFT (they/he/lui)

Alex is an award-winning author, independent scholar, licensed marriage and family therapist, and former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sexual and Relationship Therapy. They have researched and published extensively on gender, disability, sexuality, relationships, and trauma.Alex has published more than seven books and contributed to more than 25 handbooks and anthologies. Their recent book, How To Understand Your Relationships: a practical guide, is co-authored with MJ Barker and published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers. They are a frequent guest on podcasts and have hosted more than 80 episodes of their own podcast, Gender Stories.

As a licensed therapist, Alex was a co-founder of Edges Wellness Center, a group practice located on Dakota and Anishinaabe territories, currently known as Minneapolis, Minnesota. For eight years, Alex served as clinical director until 2025 when they decided to devote more time to teaching, speaking, and writing.
